With more and more apps focusing on sharing short video content, more and more short video clips are being filmed and created. But what if you have multiple video clips that need to be turned into one?

In this short tutorial you'll learn how to combine videos together using Veed's Video Merger to merge video free online.

How to Merge Video Online

1. Organise your clips

Before we even get started, the first thing you want to do is have all of your video clips neatly organised in a folder. I feel like you should always be doing this when working on a project  because it's extremely helpful, especially when you have a lot of clips.

For example, if you're working on a compilation video for Youtube, you'll most likely have dozens of clips. I like to name each one a few keywords related to the clip and give each clip a number.

2. Import your videos into Veed

The tool we're using to merge our videos is Veed. Once you have all of your clips neatly organised in a folder on your desktop, head over to veed.io, and start a new project.

The first video you want to upload is going to be the clip that is displayed first throughout your compilation. After you've added your first clip, in the timeline to the right a plus symbol appears and if you click on it you can add more video clips.

You can add as many clips as you need, but in this tutorial, I'm only combining a couple to keep it short and sweet.

3. Adjust your videos

Once you have all your clips imported to the timeline, you can go ahead and just click download but there's a lot more you can do to make your video better.

First of all, you can trim each clip individually allowing you to remove any unwanted video. If one of your clips goes on for too long, click on either extremity of that clip and drag to trim the video off.

Most of the time you'll want your video to keep its original aspect ratio, but if you're looking to post it on social media platforms such as Instagram or TikTok, you'll need to crop your video.

You can set the aspect ratio for the entire timeline using Veed's Canvas Size drop-down menu in the top right and choose from a preset aspect ratio. Then you can resize and move each clip individually on the canvas.

As well as trimming and cropping, Veed allows you to do so much more like add subtitles to video or add music to video.

4. Download your video

Once you've compiled all of your clips in the timeline and customised the video to your liking, all you have to do now is click the download button in the top right and Veed will start rendering your video.

Once it's finished rendering, you have the option to download it to your computer or share it directly to social media platforms such as Facebook.
